Another exciting book in the series, but works as a stand-alone story, too.

A Chronetic Perspective by Kim O'Hara is another exciting, fast-moving, easily readable book in this new series. You don't need to have read the first book to enjoy and appreciate this one, although I recommend reading both. The author has created a extremely cool, mind-expanding world of the future where travel by heli-car is the norm, and where certain items contain images and memories from the past. The Chronography Records series combines the best of science fiction and mystery thriller, and fans of either genre will appreciate the books. But you don't need to be a fan of either to became a fan of the heroine, Dani, who is smart, kind, self-deprecating and thoroughly engaging. Dani's relationship with her friend Kat and Kat's son, Jored, is one of the many appealing threads in this series. I can't wait for Book 3!

2nd in the series, this selection starts with a bang, moves quickly through the background from the first book, and pushes us ahead with Dani and her collection of friends, family - and an enemy or two...
The writing is smooth, the mysteries unfold in front of you, the new technologies for 200 years ahead are most intriguing, and it turns out that love still drives the human condition...! :-)
I enjoyed this one a little more than the first, having the opportunity to spend more time with "the cast" we got to know earlier. It's a great read: enjoy!

Just keeps getting better!

Okay... I'm loving me some Sci-Fi! What a great book. I enjoyed the first one, even though I don't read tons of science fiction. And i really didn't think the second one would be as good as the first, but it is. Awesome imagination and great talent brings that imagination to life. Great job!
