Paradise Flawed - Written without flaw!
By jeffrey armstrong
In "Paradise Flawed" Daniel Write creates a wonderful world of action, love and a real yearning for more! The main character, Mike, is a realistic look at many business men and women of today. Not taking vacations and constantly looking after the business. I identified with this character immediately.
There is a great amount of suspense in the book and you get so wrapped up you can't put it down, thus the red and blurry eyes at work one day for me after staying up until 4am needing to finish the book. The natural disasters, then being hunted and the description of each event and the toll it took on the players was masterful.
One thing I really liked about the book is that I could share it with anyone. You almost overlook the fact that there are no curse words in the book. Daniel does a great job of keeping the language clean all the while keeping the book interesting. Some big time authors should take a lesson.
I have read over 600 novels, that I know of, I have over 500 hard copy 1st edition/first printing novels in my own personal library, I know a good book when I read one and I put this up there with the Barry Eisler, John Sandford type authors and would rate this better than most James Patterson novels.
Thank you Daniel for a great read!

Battle for survival
By Sheila Deeth
Some families are majorly dysfunctional. Others just don't function right. Mike and Brenda, in Daniel Lance Wright's Paradise Flawed, fall into the latter category, with college daughter Jojo gazing on in dismay. How did Brenda "reel so far out of control" and why does Mike just step back? Mike's friend Ed suggests Mike's working himself into his grave. And so the family head off on vacation--to Paradise Mountain Resort.
The dialog's finely tuned and realistic, though formalities of formatting sometimes let it down. The characters are plausible and well-(sometimes overly-)described. And the scenery's truly delightful. The author creates a beautiful early morning vista, with shooting stars and the wafting scent of coffee. But beauty here's as short-lived as Brenda's loveliness, and sudden terror reigns.
The battle for survival is thrillingly told, survivors rising from one danger to the next, each individual proving invaluable for their skills and knowledge. But there are surprises beyond natural disaster, and a frantic chase through the mountains ensues as mysteries wait for resolution.
Paradise Flawed is a satisfying action adventure with truly enjoyable characters and character flaws. Heroes don't all look like they've stepped out of fashion magazines, and even the overweight can fight and run and save the day. A little unedited in places, a little over-explained in others, this novel remains a thoroughly enjoyable read filled with excitement and surprise.

Suspense high through the story
By Lindah
Have you ever been involved in a situation and not know why? Our male character is a workaholic who is convinced he needs a vacation by his best friend. He goes to the mountains with his wife and daughter to a small resort. The very first day it is blown up. A new list of characters are introduced that must run for their lives. Someone is trying to kill them and they have no idea why. They become involved in many life threatening situations that they must handle. The suspense is high throughout the book. I would have scored this higher except that in the middle of the e-book I suddenly get 2 pages of code. I don't know what happened on those pages or a number of them afterwards that every sentence was preceded by code. It interrupted the flow of the story and I found I was having to pause to regain the theme. I know this is not the authors fault, but the wrong use of words is poor editing. Waist instead of Waste. This was a good story and Daniel is a story teller par excellent.
